The Atala butterfly, belonging to the family Lycaenidae, is a small yet striking species. Its wings are predominantly black, providing a vivid contrast to its red-vermilion body. The hindwings are adorned with numerous small blue dots, adding to its distinctive appearance. The head, antennae, and thorax of the Atala are also black, completing its bold and colorful pattern.
